Did ya miss me? I didn’t think so… 
Sorry for not posting sooner but with Fable II, Fallout 3, and NHL 09 taking up my free time can you blame me? Also I’m finally watching Code Geass and Gundam 00 Season 2 as well as Hyakko so expect some reviews soon.
So on to the reason why I’m posting today…
A couple of weekends ago I made the mistake of going into IKEA with my good friend Tony. I made some impulse purchase’s which I probably shouldn’t have but my mistake is your gain… as well as mine I suppose. Anyway I picked up two glass display cases, at a very good deal, and finally have a nice place to show off my Anime figures, Gundam models, and Transformers!!!

Also I have finally received my Oilers 3rd Jersey which I pre-ordered when they released it.
It is the premier version and the logo is a little bit different than the ones they use on the ice.

Now I don’t know what the differences between the authentic and the premier versions of the jersey are (with the exception of the fight strap), but the cresting of the numbers and my name (yes I know I’m a geek) are iron-on’d, shiny patches and not the material stitched on ones.
I don’t know if all of the jerseys that come from shop.nhl.com are like this but I’m not going to complain, especially since I only paid $114 CAD instead of $260 CAD at the store.
